2025 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle in Red Hot

A minivan that goes above and beyond.

Look no further than the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica! Chrysler invented the minivan and continues to refine it with every model year. The Pacifica stands out with features like Stow ‘n Go seats that disappear into the floor for more space, an available built-in vacuum for easy cleanups and handy hooks for your grocery bags. Plus, you’ll love the standard minivan perks—sliding doors, three rows of seating for up to eight passengers, and smooth car-like handling.

Whether you choose the 287-horsepower V6 or the 260-horsepower plug-in hybrid, you’ll get efficiency and power, with a range of up to 540 miles on a full charge and tank. Plus, if you’re into adventure, the gas-powered version comes with all-wheel drive!

What’s New for 2025

For 2025, Chrysler simplifies the Pacifica lineup, offering three trims: Select, Limited, and Pinnacle. The Limited trim is gas-only, while the Select and Pinnacle offer a choice between gas or hybrid powertrains. New standard features for the base trim include:

  • A universal garage door opener.
  • Premium carpets.
  • An auto-dimming rearview mirror.
  • One-touch windows in the second row.

The S Appearance package, which includes dark trim, badges, wheels, and black upholstery with gray stitching, is now standard on the Limited and available as part of the Premium Group on the hybrid Select. This Premium Group also adds helpful extras like the Safety Sphere Group (parking sensors, park assist, and a 360-degree camera), the Uconnect Theater and Sound Group (rear-seat entertainment), wireless phone charging, and a dual-pane sunroof for that extra touch of luxury.

Engines, Towing and Performance

Starting at $44,145, the gas-powered Pacifica comes equipped with a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission. If you opt for the Pacifica Hybrid, you’ll get a little less horsepower—260 to be exact—thanks to a combination of a 3.6-liter V6 and two electric motors powered by a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. Remember that the hybrid is front-wheel drive only, so if you’re looking for all-wheel drive, you’ll want to stick with the gas version.

The Chrysler Pacifica’s maximum towing capacity is 3,600 pounds. Chrysler doesn’t recommend towing with the Pacifica Hybrid.

Fuel Economy

A great minivan isn’t just about space—it should also be easy on fuel. The Pacifica Limited impresses with 31 mpg on the highway. For even more efficiency, the Pacifica Hybrid shines with up to 33 miles of electric-only driving and is rated at 84 MPGe combined. It’s a smart choice for saving fuel without sacrificing comfort!

Interior Space

The Pacifica’s interior is roomy, light and loaded with the features minivan owners love—think plenty of cubbies, cupholders, slide-out bins and connectivity options. While most materials are solid, you’ll spot a few budget plastic pieces here and there.

The taller center consoles blend well with the dash on the higher-end Limited and Pinnacle trims, creating an SUV-like feel. The luxurious Pinnacle model takes it up a notch with quilted leather upholstery. It even offers lumbar pillows for the second-row captain’s chairs, adding a special touch you won’t find elsewhere.

While the Stow’ n Go seats in the standard Pacifica are thinner enough to fit into the floor, the Pacifica Hybrid offers extra cushioning in its captain’s chairs since the battery pack replaces the underfloor storage. And when it comes to cargo, the Pacifica shines—stowing the second and third rows allows space for 53 carry-on suitcases. You can even opt for a built-in vacuum, although it does take up space where a mini-spare tire could go.
